Knoppix V3.3 Kernel Source / Configuration - Please help!

Hi Knoppix-community,

I have a problem compiling the source of wan-ng (for prism3 Wireless LAN adapter).

If found the sentence in the readme :

"2) Make sure you have configured kernel and..."

- may it be that the configuration files are missing in Knoppix V3.3 hdinstall? Where can I download them?

Try this:
cd /boot
grep WAN config-2.4.23-xfs

This will show you if the kernel on the cd has been
compiled for WAN. According to mine (c't version)
it is. You may have to modprobe the module if it
wasn't recognized, or perhaps the module is not
compatible with your hardware.
