Hey there.

I've just installed Knoppix (after one bad installation, this installation went smoothly). I've been running it for an hour or so now, and I've noticed that applications such as Konqueror (and when I try and access home) are really slow and unresponsive. I can't get to access the drives like I could on the live CD. However, other applications like Gaim and Mozilla work fine and are the right speed.

I'm a newbie really to Linux, and a search of the forum didn't help me. Has anybody got any ideas on this? I can't seem to figure it out.
