can any1 tell me a good way to install Knoppix on the 3rd HD?

shell as a root: knx-hdinstall
then choose the right hd, the 3Gb one.
(I hope you have 3 hd and not 3 partition...but it doesn't matter)

without a floppy?

sure, all you need is you powerfull cd-rom ^_^

and still keep my XP and ME?

yeap! knoppix installation will provide to write only in the hdd you choose. lilo will make the rest...
