installing from cd

Sir,

we have remastered from knoppix 3.3, did menu changes and the cd is booting well .
the menu chnages are reflected after booting .
however when installed on a pc the menu changes did not reflect .

please help

try to figure out from where the system is taking the menu and replace the modified menu to that place.for e.g. if the system is taking the menu from /etc/skel/.kde/share/applnk and your changes are in, say /home/knoppix/.kde/share/applnk,then copy the contents of /home/knoppix/.kde/share/applnk to /etc/skel/.kde/share/applnk.
