I've searched for hours both online and in X configuration files and have yet to find a way to change that hidious Debian (woody) logo that appears when X is started. Does anyone have any idea how this can be done? I assume it's fairly trivial once you know where to look.

Change Debian logo
Go to Kstart menu.....Settings......Control Center.....System Administration....login manager......Click on the Background Tab....you can change the appearance of the LOGON screen in here! Bob
