I am posting this because I had so much trouble finding out how to get my usb mouse to work.

At the boot prompt type:
"knoppix noapic"
(no quotes).

That is it. Works for my Logitech usb mouse and a MicroSoft Intellimouse.

Hope this helps someone figure it out faster than me (took me a week off and on of searching)
