No usb support after HD-Install

Hi!

After installing Knoppix 3.4 c't edition (kernel 2.61) I can't get any usb device to work.
I can't find the /proc/bus/usb directory!
When I started Knoppix from CDROM all USB devices were found.

typing

insmod usb-uhci, insmod usb-ohci or insmod ehci-hcd does not work.

Any Ideas?

You are going to need this in the /etc/fstab.

## Needed for kernel 2.6
none            /sys            sysfs   defaults                0       0

For the new sysfs that is used with kernel 2.6.? the /sys directory should already exist but check to be sure if not then mkdir /sys as root.
