Knoppix will not set up eth0 under DHCP be it command line only or under X/KDE.

If I boot to level 2, eventually I will get a warning along the lines of "eth0: can not set DHCP......."

eth0 IS DETECTED during the set up fine.

If under KDE I run netcard configure it and put the values IN MANUALLY all is fine.

My DHCP server is my Netgear RH348 ISDN Router @ 192.168.0.1

After setting this manually all is fine.

Where is knoppix looking for the DHCP server at?
