Shuting down or exiting

Ok im having trouible with the screen resolutions

Just incase it dont work and i cant see what is the command on the ctrl + alt + F1 cammand thing. Is there a command or something similar to shut it down or exit???

You can kill the X server by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Backspace. You can see the original console window (the one Knoppix started up with) by pressing Ctrl-Alt-F1. Useful for seeing any messages from the X server, if any.

You can access new console windows by pressing Ctrl-Alt-F2 through Ctrl-Alt-F4, then get back to X by pressing Ctrl-Alt-F5.

You can use Ctrl-Alt with the plus or minus keys on the numeric keypad to switch between the video modes listed on the "Modes" line of the "Screen" section of "XF86Config".

Finally, you can stop Knoppix and reboot your computer by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del.
