Hi,
I burned Knoppix on a CD (with Nero) and the CD is willing to boot, but at the startup screen with the Linux logo, the following message appears:
Can't find KNOPPIX filesystem, sorry.
Dropping you to a (very limited) shell.
Press reset button to quit.
Additional commands available:
cat mount umount
insmod rmmod lsmod
I can't acces the CD in WinXP. Is it possible that something went wrong during burning, although Nero didnt report any errors? I've got an old CD-burner which doesn't support overburning, or couldn't that be the problem?
The MD5-checksum of the .iso file is OK, by the way.
Thanks in advance,
Ralph
