Getting to KDE from console

I installed Knoppix on my hard drive and created a boot floppy (no LILO).
After logging in as user "knoppix", this may be a dumb question, but how
do I get to the KDE environment?

Beautiful. Thanks for the post. But my German aint too good. How do I get the English?

Tried clicking on US icon in lower right but there must be a simple
solution.

Did you downlaod and install the English version (iso ending with en)? If so you should have English by default. If not, try running kpersonalizer.
