Could sb tell me the function of RAID, Router, Firewall n Hub respectively???

RAID raid is conecting disks together in arrays differently for different reasons.
one way is so that two disks "mirror" each other, so if one breaks the other can keep going.
another are two disks working as "one" speeding filetransfers as files are saved partly to both.
there are other array arrangements but...

router: very basicly a router directs network packets to where they are supposed to go.

router (popularspeak) is used to conect several computers together to share a single internet conection. that is several computers share one phone/broadband/cable conection but outwards look as one.

Hub: a hub just trows anything incomming to one of its jacks to every available jac.

a switch (again popularspeak) is a "inteligent" hub, it uses some routerlike ways and only gives the packets to the computer that are suposed to recieve them.

a firewall is a way to stop unwanted networktrafic from enter and/or leave your computer/network

these are simplified beyond actual info but...
