Hang in Toshiba Satellite 1905-s301

Hello

Using script knoppix-installer passes my knoppix live-CD to my hard disk but my laptop hangs in about 20 minutes (sometimes less) to be running, last time the system died, the ext2 file system collapse and have to re-install again. it happend to somebody elese ?? the system also hang used from live-cd (not installed on hd).

Please helpme i want knoppix on my hard disk.

Have you checked the BIOS for any power management settings? If you find any, turn them off to see if it helps.

Yes i do it but there is nothing of power management settings or other settings like that, i install Debian from Debian's Cds and happend same as Knoppix...

p.d. Sorry my english but my natural language is spanish...

Have you tried any cheatcodes at the boot prompt, like noapm?
