If the povray authors would agree to distribute povray under an OSI-approved license (http://www.opensource.org/) instead of the current one, I see no problem for the inclusion in Knoppix. -KK

-Installed version 4.0 from the DVD to my second hard drive hdb. Did apt-get update and then apt-get upgrade. On updates, choose use maintainers version and also keep installed version. Upon reboot, it gets to the KDE login screen, loads until "Configuring Hardware" icon, screen goes blank for a few seconds, then takes me back to the log on screen, keeps asking for login.  Also installed the CD version 4.0.2 on another computer, same results. jrocky

-My laptop has an azerty keyboard with Belgian layout and while the lang=be works fine on the console, X is still started with a US (qwerty) layout.  When changing the layout by clicking the system tray icon Knoppix "hangs".  It is possible to change to the "proper" layout by right-clicking the icon and choosing configure.
