Haven't looked at the scripts but creating the iso is unchanged for version 3.2 and 3.3. It changed in 3.4 when Knoppix went to the isolinux setup.Originally Posted by aahicnow
In the news thread under the topic" remastering the easy way", it was discussed about adding support for remastering the older versions ( in my case 3.2). Was this ever done?? from reading the script I am guessing it was not. Is this possible or could some one point me in the right direction for adding support to it, as it seems like a really good script. Is it just the iso creationthat needs to be changed or is there other changes as well??

Thats the problem CrashedAgain the new script is designed for 3.4 and above but it is so slick that it would be nice is you could pick between a 3.4 and above or a 3.2/3.3 install. Fabianx did a excellent job on this script and it would make my job of remastering a 3.2 system a lot easier. Thats not to say the current remastering faq is not good, just that Fabianx's script saves a out of typing and automates alot.
