    video card driver update on Knoppix

    Hi sorry to bother you guys.

    could someone walk me through how to download and install Nvidia video card driver ?

    because I've downloaded Enemy Territory but its running 1 FPS ! I have MX440 that works well with Enemy Territory running under winxp.

    is it a hdd install? if yes they have it all in the download readme.
    EDIT
    the NVIDIA readme in the download directory.

    yes it is a HD install. But where is this readme file located ? And do you mean that the NVDIA graphic driver is most likely already installed ?? and which directory will that be placed under ?

    there you have most of what you need to know.
    and the readme is in the driverpackage.
    The nvidia-xconfig program might help aswell.
    just read the instructions.
