Trying Knoppix 4.0 (with no cheatcodes, for the purposes of this post) on a Dell Latitude CPx J650 laptop, with no dock. Problems are with my Xircom RealPort CardBus Ethernet 10/100+Modem 56 (RBEM56G-100).
It tells me that I should look in the dmesg, however I have no idea what I am looking for.

If I run it with nopcmcia cheatcode, then everything else seems to work OK.
