What about this? I suppose, your CD is a mishmash CD, not an origin Knoppix CD. You may ask SourgeForge why you cannot use this CD.I bought the CD from SourceForge, to be delivered. And it boots on WinXP ..
To work with Knoppix DVD, please download from the Mirrors and burn it yourself. Test the burned DVD with "knoppix testcd".
