Try with different cheatcodes (read them, they are in your KNOPPIX folder). For example boot with: knoppix pci=irqmask=0x0e98 or with knoppix pci=bios or knoppix nomodeset
Hi:
Bit of newbie, haven't dabbled in Linux for a while to be honest. Downloaded the Live CD and burnt the ISO to a DVD and boot up, all goes well until the boot process is finished and the desktop appears, then nothing happens, as in the mouse moves but I can't click on anything, no response to any keyboard input etc...Tried downloading and burning another copy but it didn't help as I have the same problem. It is on an older desktop with only 1G ram so not sure if that is going to be an issue or not. Any help would be appreciated, I tried booting it on a new laptop but after boot just had a black screen of death. Thanks.
