most important feature Knoppix should have, is a partition QUOTA by default
The most important feature Knoppix should have(and does not have) is a partition QUOTA of remaining space limit by 'default', that stops a person trying to install more software and not realising that will lead to a not bootable installation, with no way to undo.

You can boot with the cheatcode "knoppix noimage" and remove your persistent memory (file or partition). After reboot (without the cheatcode "noimage") you can create a new persistent memory; with the newest version of Knoppix you need the cheatcode "knoppix mkimage" for this.
