Does anyone know if such a thing exist ? I want to implement a simple menu based system(controlled by arrows/enter/esc) that works on text terminals.

On a related issue, are there any utilities that make use of ncurses for entering information to a text box using just 4 arrows and enter/esc ? What I am working at is a keyboard-less setup which has only a joystick/remote control and there may be needs to enter things like ip address/netmask.
