Linux canot safely write to NTFS,
you will have to make room on his hdd for a linux filesystem.
say 4-6G free or so.
I was trying to install Knoppix 4 on my friend's PC having only XP installed, with NTFS partitons.Unlike in my PC with FAT32 file system ,when i gave knoppix-installer command,It prompted a window with only two options
1.Partition your Hard disc
2.Quit
What may be the problem??
please tell me how to proceed?
