Knoppix disappears after booting and saying "press enter to continue"....
..when i press enter as advised, i get black screen on my system.
then i have to reboot the system manually.
My PC has a motherboard ASUS P5B-MX/WiFi-AP which uses Intel 945G graphics controller.
It runs Core 2 duo with 1 GB of RAM.
I guess a correct boot parameter is required but I do not know about that.

1) Try hitting F2 or F3 for some suggested options instead of Enter.
2) Try the media self-test, i.e. or to check whether you have a good burn on the disk. There are an awful lot of bad burns and/or downloads.
3) Does simply typing do anything different than just Enter?
Cheers!
