Modem USB

I've a problem with my Modem USB... it's so old (it's 4 or 5 years old I don't rember excatly)... knoppix doesn't recognise it... Can anyone help me?
(Excuse me for my english.... I'm italian!!!)

I forget it last time... well..It's SupraMax Usb 56k products by Diamond.
It's 4 years old, i think... I don't know others caracterics about it... If you need more information ask me...
