Hi, I just wanted to report that my hardrive doesn't work with Knoppix 3.4, with either of the kernels, with or without DMA enabled, just like Knoppix 3.3. It detects the partitions just fine, (i.e. lists four different partitions on desktop) but refuses to mount them. When I try it by hand, it gives me the standard unable to mount, possible bad block or wrong filetype or too many mounted partitions. QtParted is unable to read the partition table, but it correctly detects the size and type of the hardrive (WDC AC313600D, a 5 year old 13 GB IDE drive). The entire computer works perfectly with every other distro I've tried, including MEPIS, which is also Debian based. Just FYI. Hope this helps!
