The Intel version X520-DA2 is much more compatible(They have the genuine Intel boot code while the Dell X520's use a modified firmware version more tuned to their Poweredge Servers and Lifecycle Controller, while the HP versions report differently to the OS and use different firmware too) than cheaper Dell or HP versions of the X520! We do not sell anything counterfeit and stand behind the cards. These work great in Dell and HP too. We also solve the problem with X520's hanging upon boot up with certain motherboards!
All ports tested day cards go out and unlike most any other seller, we also update the Intel boot code to the latest Combo PXE / UEFI version, not as easy as you think and make these the most compatible version of these cards around!

Some servers(especially SuperMicro /Synology / Lenovo / HP)do not like the Dell or HP versions where this real Intel made version does work great in them. The real Intel82599 /82599ES chipsetof the cards also tends to be more supported and trouble free than the Intel X710-DA2 + in many applications.
This card is for use with SFP Optics or Direct Attach Cable/DACs, it is not a RJ45 10G-BaseT Copper Card. We have those X540-T2 in another listing.
Works with any brand 10Gb SPF+ DAC / Direct Attached Cable & 1Gb SX / LX SFP GBIC optics.
