Problem: SWAP-Partition not recognized by knx2hd

Hi,
i have a problem:

I'm trying to install knoppix to a 80gb HDD on a P100 box.
I made 2 primary partitions (hda1, linux, 78gb, hda2, linux-swap, 2gb).
When i start the knoppix-install-skript it complains about insufficient partions.
When i override the check i cannot specify on which drive to put the SWAP...

so I'm stuck...

How can I trick the machine to use hda1 for installing Knoppix and hda2 to use for SWAP?

I always use cfdisk to partition. It is pretty simple. Qtparted is also good, but i am used to cfdisk. when you partition the drive you have to make sure you set the swap partition as "swap".....there is a choice using either qtparted or cfdisk. So what i did on mine was to make a primary partition for linux at 7 gig, make that partition bootable. Then i made another primary partition for /home at 2 gig. Then i made a 1 gig partition marked as "swap" or "linux swap".....this is for my 10gig HDD laptop. then write to disk, and reboot. try re partitioing again and see if that helps.....i guess you dont need 3 partitions, and i only used to use 2 also. but i wanted a separate one for /home stuff.....bob
