I think you are using myconfig=/mnt/auto/floppy and, as you've found, it doesn't work.
Use myconfig=floppyconfig

Hi I just bought Knoppix 3.6. I can boot up etc. I've read other posts and stuff on how to save settings you have changed, so I do what they say on how to put it on a floppy disk but when I boot up I have write something at the "boot:" thing, so I write what they say to write and about in the middle while it's booting up it says "can't find dir"or something like that.
I would save it on my HD but I can't because my HD is formatted with Windows XP and NTFS.
What do I do?

The first cheatcode didn't work.
What ever I'm just going to install Knoppix on my HD and get it over with.
