nVidia GeForce MX 200

I recently changed my graphics card from my old integrated sis 730, to a new (at the time) geForce 2. When i try to boot knoppix, the screen goes blank, and in text mode, it says it's trying to use my old sis 730, which still exists. what can i do, to make knoppix see my new card?

I have an old SiS integrated motherboard, the onboard video was disabled in the BIOS but was still detected by knoppix, what I had to do was use the jumper on the motherboard that disabled the onboard video. Then knoppix didn't see the SiS video just the video card I had installed.
