**Historical Origin:** Carefully salvaged from a vintage white Sun Microsystems "Shoebox" external subsystem housing that originally contained a Micropolis 1325 hard drive.

Pre-owned / Vintage enterprise computing part. The board layout is exceptionally clean with robust original factory traces, complete point-to-point connector wiring harnesses, and no signs of fluid leaks on the heavy Nichicon primary capacitors (marked 8722 date code). The metal frame chassis is solid and features authentic hand-written bench marker notes from August 20, 2000, tracking its operational lineage (*"From Sun Shoebox. White, 1-Microp 1325 Drive..."*). Sold AS-IS / Untested due to a lack of a compatible vintage Sun subsystem backplane to load-test all active voltage rails. Excellent donor component for retro workstation repair or historical computer archiving.
