I have a radeon 9800 pro. knopix detected my card. and It is running fine - in 1024x768 with good color. But my games are absolutley crawling. I would like to install the latest drivers.

I downloaded them from the ati website. and *tried* to intall them. but it just crashed me and i had to deleted all the Xconfig files and copy new ones from the ramdisk.

any help would be great. thanks!
