if you have enough ram you can use the toram boot option. but this requires more then 600mb of ram.

if the CD Drive you booted Knoppix with is also your CDRW, how do you burn CDs.? Is there an option to remove the Knoppix CD just to allow burning.? Cheers.

nah, went the other way...knoppix tohd=/dev/hda5(re-formatted what was a NTFS partition with an old install of win2kser to ext3) and now I can burn to my hearts content..lol..cheers..
