booting knoppix from usb stick

Hi
I want copy the knoppix CD on my usb stick (1GB) and boot from it. All Howto discribes a way by using a file /KNOPPIX/boot.img. On my CD (3. is no file like *.img. Has anyone do it with a 3.8 CD?? Is there any new Howto?

Yes, there is many ways to do it, and this is my suggestion (i used for my knoppix bootable PQI 1GB USB dongle):
You first need to make your usb dongle DOS bootable using HPUSBFW.EXE (it will reformat your USB dongle)
Then, copy the grub.exe file (dos version of grub) which start knoppix by loading the kernel and initrd_ntfs files.
Then the modified linuxrc script of the initrd_ntfs will load the rest of the system from the knoppix ISO file.
Looks like complicated, but all this is automated and will boot straight into knoppix from the bios menu...
