    V 3.4 &3.8 CD mouse/trackball failure

    Hi.

Several problems have occurred whereby mouse/trackball is not
activated when booting from CD on an emachines T2200+. Cursor
    remains centered.

    1. emachines wheel mouse.

    2. DRTRACB trackball

    3. mouse-trak industrial trackball

All devices work on HD installations of Knoppix v3.4, Libranet
    and Windoze XP.

Booting from V3.4 CD, 1 and 2 work but cursor freezes at center
    with 3.

Booting with Linux Central copy of v3.8 CeBIT special edition
CD, all freeze at center. Can not get to installer to verify
    operation from HD boot.

Is there a work-around to HD install or even try CD operation?

    Thank you,

    Budb

I just tried 3.8 for a serial mouse and it does same thing. As were 3.4 worked fine.

Just a line to let you know that you are not alone...
