Fuzzy Screen

After using

knoppix noscsi

it loads fine with the exception of some I/O errors but then when it goes to booting into winx11 or wtvr i get this fuzzy screen, like a messed up tv or sumthin...any ideas? its a kds 15in crt that works fine and i have no clue what the graphics card is other than it is O L D.

Did you try knoppix screen=800x600 vsync=60 or something like that?

yes, i actually tried exactly that and it yielded the same "fuzzy screen"

i just gave slax a try and it did the same thing...booted fine but when it tries to launch the gui i get a fuzzy screen
