Recommend a good book for a Linux virgin!

I'm fascinated with Knoppix and need to learn more. I'd like to get recommendations from the people
here as to a good text to start learning Linux with. Thanks

    Downloadable Free Books
"Knowing Knoppix: The first guide to Knoppix for the complete beginner"
    http://www.pjls16812.pwp.blueyonder....pix/index.html

    "Simply Linux"
    http://jetblackz.cjb.net/

From IBM - "Linux Client Migration Cookbook A Practical Planning and Implementation Guide for Migrating to Desktop Linux"
    http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg246380.html
----- Very big, very technical, very thorough.

    Paper Books:
    NewsForge | Review: "Knoppix Hacks"
----- I wrote this review. The author, Kyle Rankin, also posts on this forum. Great book for experienced people or people not afraid to experiment.

"Moving to Linux: Kiss the Blue Screen of Death Goodbye!"
----- Even though I am not a newbie (I'm a Unix & Linux sysadmin), I bought this book. Great for newbies.

    I hope this helps.

I heard Knoppix Hacks is good... whats your opinion...

(also the best book in life, is this forum, because its the only book thats interactive) <-- what i have said does make sence (even though maybe to me)... the amount of times i have come here and actually found someone else has the same problem (and has already been answered (sometimes to detail)), its a great conviniece... but you proberly already know that (i just like the sound of me typing voice)

Knoppix Hacks is great! Every time I open it I find something new. Komplete Knoppix looks like it might be good as well, but you are right about this forum. I've learned a bunch here
