Sometimes the HD starts to generate sound like click, click, and clik. Sometimes this clicks stop without any problems, but sometimes pc suspends with a freeze screen “to prevent further damage?, but reboot next without any problems.

What this click is? What is wrong with this HD, and how to fix this?

May be, this is not knoppix problem, but I’ll appreciate any advice.
