transfer OOo from knoppix to other systems

[i]i have knoppix v3.2-20030323.DE

so then i launch it with lang=us i have english openoffice and my locale is LANG=C{POSIX}

so.. also i have permanent slackware system on my hdd but w/out OOo :)
i've copy OOo to /usr/dist/ooffice, install it (local version, installation procces was in english!) into /opt/openoffice, cp soffice script to $PATH, run it.. but openoffice always with german interface :( with any locale :((
even LANG=C{POSIX,en_US,en,en,ru_RU)...
even cp /etc/sysconfig/i18n w C locale from knoppix havent help me :(
what should i do exclude RTFM-and-so-on-flame ?

This was a known bug with that version of Knoppix. Get a more-current version of Knoppix, that will help -- OOo is up to 1.0.3 now, anyway.
