newbie needs help creating live knoppix cd

i had the following files on the cd:

knoppix_v3.9-2005-05-27-EN.iso
knoppix_v3.9-2005-05-27-EN.iso.md5
knoppix_v3.9-2005-05-27-EN.iso.md5.asc
knoppix_v3.9-2005-05-27-EN.iso.sha1.asc
packages

and btw i dont have any of the programs listed on the faq... all i have is the windows burning thing where i just drag the files to the cd rom drive

Yup, you are apparently deciding that you don't need to follow the instructions in the faq, which cover his quite clearly, and burning the CD incorrectly. There is even mention there about the windows burning thing.
