If I were to create a persistent home directory, what all gets saved? What if I installed a package not included with Knoppix? Will it stick if I create a persistent home on a thumb drive somewhere? Also, what changes to the kernel that I make will stick? i.e. driver installation etc? Can someone give me a comprehensive list of what gets saved when you create a persistent home directory?
