future klik on mac os x?

would it be at all possible to, in the future, make .cmg (or similar) files for mac os x fink programs? i don't know how any of this stuff works unfortunately so i'm not sure if it would be possible or not. i know that i and many like me would really like to be able to use and manage true unix programs with as much ease as bundled applications in mac os x.

Excellent suggestion, in fact, I have been thinking of the same lately... my preference there would be to use Apple's native format (.app bundle inside a .cmg image). Actually I might start playing around with it when I have some time, and when there is precompiled fink binaries for x86.
