I am posting this question again, just re-phrasing it
Does anyone know if a DVR can be mounted as a firewire drive?
I do not see that drive being auto mounted
Here is what dmesg shows when I unplug\plug the f/w device:

ieee1394: Node suspended: ID:BUS[0-01:1023] GUID[00152ffffed80c0d]
ieee1394: Node resumed: ID:BUS[0-01:1023] GUID[00152ffffed80c0d]

Anyway that this can be mounted?
