Boots up in german

I burned knoppix to a disk and everzthing is actuallz working well but everzthing is in german. I read in one of the messages to just switch back to english u just give the comand knoppix lang=us at the boot prompt, but since its in the german set up when i press = i just get a ' or a `. Is ther a trick to get around this, or do i have to burn a new iso.

Shift-zero, but in the future download iso files with EN and not DE in the name.

Thx, now in the future will I have to type knoppix lang=us everytime when i boot up, or is there a way that i can change it to make it a permanent change.
