kwifimanager shows DWL-G630 as not connect

My DWL-G630 shows not connected even though it works fine unencrypted in Windows. I know that this card has an Atheros chipset which I understand is supported in Knoppix 4.0. Yet KWiFiManager does not seem to know the NIC is there. I am attempting to run from CD. Can anyone please advise me? Thank you.

was running Knoppix 4.0, and it worked fine. I installed Knoppix 5.0, and now the DWL-G630 does not work (netcardconfig says "No card recognized"). I will either re-install Knop 4.0, or try ndiswrapper with one of these drivers:
