please need help Qemu

Dear

i am new on Knoppix version and i installed the Qemu, for use Window XP pro. after installation XP pro my problem i can t to communicate with this Virtual Machine, when i run "# qemu -hda windwsXp.img -k fr -m 256 -boot c -net user" i dont t see my interface network on windows but when run " # qemu -hda windwsXp.img -k fr -m 256 -boot c", i see my interface network the speed is 10 mbs the ip addresse is 10.0.2.15 gw 10.0.2.2 when i proced to change the ip on my subnet its not work.

please sorry for my bad english but can you helps me which the problem

use Kqemu ..."Kqemu GUI" (should be located at /usr/bin/kqemu-gui)



Click the "Network" Tab and choose "Add Network Device"... When asked for a MAC Address... open up a Terminal and type ` ifconfig `

Look for the line that looks like this:

eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:11:25:0D:90:58

Use the HWaddr that ifconfig reports as your working Network interface (i.e. 00:11:25:0D:90:5 for the MAC address in KQemu... Then when asked for Network mode ...choose " USER"

Finish setting up the Virtual Machine to your liking then Enjoy
