unable to boot windows after knoppix installation

hi guys.i installed knoppix 5.0 on my machine which already had windows but my machine cant boot from windows.it gives an error message ntldr missing .anybody please?

To install Knoppix did you have a empty partition or did you have to resize or move XP's partition?

If resized/moved-
1)what program did you use ?
2) did you put the new partition at the begaining of XP's or the end ?

1) Do you have a MS XP cd or a restore cd ?
2)Does comp have a floppy drive ?

I think you made a common mistake. During the install, you evidently put lilo (the Linux boot loader) on the main XP partiion instead of the partition where your Knoppix install resides.

That wiped out your XP MBR (Master Boot Record)

You need your XP install cd to boot from. Boot the CD. Choose "Repair."

Use the command console to repair it. Choose "FixMBR" from the numerous commands the console will show you.
