Up for sale is the exact Dell PowerEdge R740 2U LFF 8 bay Rack Mount server from the photos.
This server is tested working and sold with a 30 day warranty, but it is NOT COMPLETE. There are no hard drives, operating system, rack rails, hardware RAID, or RAM.
I used my own RAM to fire up the machine for testing and for photos (and I am keeping that RAM) , you are getting the same machine from the photos, but ALL RAM AND HARD DRIVES HAVE BEEN REMOVED!
This system will NOT Boot until you Install your own DDR4 ECC Registered Memory!
Everything included in the sale, the motherboard, the CPUs, the power supplies, the fans, all that stuff is covered by our 30 day warranty.
The Metal lid/cover has some very thin cosmetic scratches. See actual photos of actual machine you will be getting- Photo 6 shows a close up with flash of one of the scratches. Overall, the machine is very clean and the cosmetic scratches aren't severe.
This is a 2U Rack Mountable Server that takes up to 8 x 3.5" hard drives in the front 8 bays, uses up to 24 x DDR4 Registered ECC Memory Modules, and takes Dual Socket LGA3647 CPUs.

- 2 x Dell Hard Drive Caddies- These are LFF 3.5" hard drive caddies with a little insert inside so you can mount 2.5" SSDs inside of this 3.5" system. If you want to use a 3.5" drive, just unscrew the insert and it becomes a normal caddy!
This server is tested working and sold with a 30 day warranty, but it is NOT COMPLETE.
