Hi

(KNOPPIX V5.1.1-CD 2007-01-04)

I have tried knoppix testcd and the cd is OK.
I can only see the desktop (mountains and a lake) but without icons.
And my computer has 2 dvd drives, have tried both but the problem remains.

And sometimes the desktop without icons changes to the loading screen again.
and it says:

x window session terminated with errors.

Please check '/etc/init.d/xsession start'

Then I enter /etc/init.d/xsession start but then only a black screen appears.





EDIT: Problem solved. The Rams were broken. Replaced them, my comp works perfectly now. Thanks to Mr. Knopper's support.
