Anyone else using Knoppix for Seti-At-Home or other distributed-computing projects?

After about 8 years of inactivity with the Seti project, I was pleased to find the BOINC software on the DVD, and after a few bungles on my part, it works well. Since Knoppix is running from ram, it can help ease some security concerns about using it on a dedicated machine. I'm actually running Knoppix 5.3.1 on a bootable 8gb usb-thumbdrive.

Knoppix keeps on surprising me on how useful it is!
