The machine booting from 6.2.1 on the USB flash drive begins the boot process, asks the file size, then goes through some checks and says something about run level 5. Then the screen flashes about a 1/2 page of text, then flashes some colored blocks on the screen then goes black.

There is a knoppix-data file on the USB drive, but I can't open it and it will not mount on my OSX machine. Any ideas?
